Fulham are reportedly moving closer to completing a permanent deal for Samuel Chukwueze following his impressive loan spell from AC Milan.

The Nigerian winger joined the Premier League side on a temporary move last summer and has gradually become an important figure in Marco Silva’s squad.

His pace, direct style of play, and creativity in the final third have added a new dimension to Fulham’s attack, making him a valuable asset in their campaign.

Chukwueze has contributed with goals and assists in the league, catching the attention of the club’s management, who are now keen to secure his services on a long-term basis.

Reports suggest Fulham are prepared to activate the €24 million buy clause included in the agreement with Milan, a move that would make his stay in London permanent.

For AC Milan, the potential transfer could provide much-needed funds as they look to reinforce their squad ahead of the new season.

The Serie A giants signed Chukwueze from Villarreal in 2023, but he struggled to consistently deliver at the San Siro, finding the net only a handful of times in over 50 appearances.

His move to England appears to have reignited his form, offering him more playing time and a system that suits his strengths.

With two years still left on his Milan contract, a permanent switch to Fulham could represent a fresh start and a chance to fully rediscover his best form.

If completed, the deal would be a win-win situation for all parties, as Fulham secure a proven attacking option while Milan gain financial flexibility to reshape their squad.
