“I still need to ask the Sporting Directors and Owners before I can let him play”

Not sure why he’s being so cryptic. He’d be better off not mentioning it in the first place.

I would imagine there are still decisions to be made over whether he or Palmer wears the armband in Reece’s absence going forward.

  4. If he doesn’t want to be here id let him sit for the rest of the season, idc about players who aint all in. He had a couple good seasons and thinks he Zidane or something? gtfo

Yes man says yes man things and responds like a yes man to questions presented to aforementioned yes man

  6. My opinion on the potential hurdle: Enzo is clearly waiting to see where we finish and what European competition we play on next season before wanting to commit to Chelsea long term but the SDs seemingly want to know asap

  7. Enzo is still class and I think leaving or not, his abilities might prove essential to securing European football.

  8. This guys just trying to sound ominous for the sake of it. I find it hilarious how there was more repercussion for him saying “Madrid looks like Buenos Aires” vs when he sang that racist chat against France. This club can’t do anything right

While I don’t blame Liam by listening to his bosses, why is he even engaging in this conversation with the press? Just gloss over it saying it was a collective decision and he’ll be back for United game.

We all know the truth that this came from the hierarchy- don’t act tough like you took this call too.

You have 0 power barring the tactics you employ in the game- let’s stick to that.

What a classic middle management yes man response. This is becoming a Potter scenario very quickly.

Although I enjoy roasting Liam for being a yes man for the board, let’s not act like any team’s manager makes decisions on matters like this without discussing it with higher ups.

Plus we really don’t know all the details.

It’s a bit silly that this issue has been made so public, just remove him from the squad list for 2 games for “personal reasons.”  Disciplinary matters don’t always have to be disclosed. This team…sigh…

Having said that, personally I’d ban Enzo for another game after the new Pastore comments. And strip him of the vice captaincy.

He may still produce for the club but I don’t want a captain to be someone whose dedication to the team is conditional on champions league footy.
F off. Prepare for Eastern Europe away cause no one will buy you out of your contract.
