      He is a good player. Just needs to keep his head up after Atletico. Hopefully he can regain his confidence.

      Good luck to the man. I believe he deserves a much fairer chance than the rotten pitch in Madrid. It’s a shame that happened, but really, anyone could have had that howler there, as we saw with VDV, too. Just a bad day out that one, lol.

      With Ange he would have been ok since Ange was a manager who could build up confidence and inspire players. I have no idea if De Zerbi can do that

      I wish him luck but he has made a mistake in nearly every game he has played.

      Remember earlier in the season when he started in the 2-0 cup loss against Newcastle. He let in two headers, the second of which was one of the most impressive errors I’ve ever seen. That is unfortunately the level of GK he is. The gap in quality between him and Vicario is fucking massive, and that doesn’t exactly mean good things if he’s going to be starting during this crucial stretch

      Only two teams have scored less goals than Sunderland, so it’s a pretty good team to come up against.

      The problem is handling the pressure… the pressure of it being his first game since the disastrous performance in the champions league AND the fact we are very, very, very likely to be in the relegation places at kick off…

      That said, we really should be able to beat Sunderland.

      I rate Kinsky and hopefully he can push out all the noise from that previous disaster and string together a decent performance in his next game and build on it.

      Debut is the best goalkeeping debut I’ve seen at the club. Would love nothing more than for him to put in a similar display Sunday. We all would.

      Am I the only one who actually feels all ‘*meh*’ about our club now? That feeling is what stresses me out with shame and horror – not the actual club situation anymore. It’s like a defensive instinct for my own health.
