  1. Brother, he is not the player that should make runs and score goals. He did his job exceptionally well, and that’s to play in the midfield, help with defense etc. The fact that he scores is amazing, but that’s extra job that he is not much responsible for.

Valverde did pretty well and who do you want finishing chances, mbappe or valverde.

  4. I believe his momentum broke due to LaLiga suspension over that Bayern’s attack was too aggressive to leave the defence open, you could see him defending most of the time.

Blud had more defence contribution than both Rudiger and Hujisen😭😭

brahim was not playing so he could not press right side. this turned fede to camp right side to help trent and tchoumeni.

because Valverde played like CF in the last few games. Arbeloa had found a recipe that worked, but it all fell apart with Mbappe, lol. Besides, that’s what Ancelotti was doing with Bellingham.

  8. Don’t be this shallow. They shot 20 shots, 10 of them were on target. If Valverde didn’t contribute to these shots it’s because he wasn’t told to. Mbappe’s back on the team and Arbiloa gave him and Vini the responsibility to make runs and score. Valverde was more needed in the back to support Arnold defensively and build up play from the back and in counter attacks. Valverde, as always, ran more kilometers than any Madrid player on the pitch which means he yet again sacrificed the most for the sake of the team.

Again, don’t be close minded by watching matches from stats, watch the games and if you can’t understand player roles watch analysis videos post games on Youtube.

I think other than what everyone is stating, Kompany—unlike the punk Arbeloa—did his homework seeing Valverde’s performance against Man City and gave instructions. I’m sure he told the midfield to tighten the space where Valverde to prevent more of his runs.

  10. Come on guys. I am one Mbappe’s biggest critics (and he actually played like he was supposed to last time). But are we going to ignore the fact Bayern is probably the best team in the world right now? Valverde isnt the type to score often, let alone on this specific game.
