Exclusive Player Cam of the Man of the Match in the Champions League showdown against Real Madrid: Legend Manuel Neuer! In the first leg of the quarterfinals at the legendary Bernabéu, Manuel Neuer produced one world-class save after another. Whether it was Vinicius Junior or Kylian Mbappé, they were left frustrated time and again by the FC Bayern goalkeeper. Neuer made a total of nine saves on Tuesday night. Even on Madrid’s only goal, the keeper somehow managed to deflect Mbappé’s close-range shot onto the crossbar with an incredible reflex save, but ultimately couldn’t prevent the ball from going in. In the end, FCB won 2-1, and Neuer — who once again stood out from the strong Bayern squad in this fast-paced, high-class European showdown — was deservedly named Man of the Match.

  1. Naja, jetzt lassen wir die Kirche mal im Dorf. Ja es war eine großartige Leistung. Aber das beste Spiel seiner über 20-jährigen Karriere? Sicher nicht.

  2. There was so good keepers in history, special in the last 20-30 years. Buffon, Van der Sar, Kahn… i thought i will never see a better Keeper then Kahn in my life. But there is Neuer..he is even better

  3. Imagine being a Real Madrid fan and booing Manuel Neuer. That's like being a passenger on a plane and booing the pilot. Has to feel awkward 🐐

  4. I am not a Bayern fan (yet?), but I am a Real hatewatcher. I can safely say this man made my evening because Real had more than a few runs through Bayern's defense, he was incredibly clutch and consistent throughout.

  5. Nein, war es nicht. Das beste Spiel seiner Karriere hat er ebenfalls in der Champions League gemacht, aber für Schalke damals im Spiel in Porto.
