[James Pearce] What a player, what a man. Signed from relegated Hull City for £8m in 2017 and went on to secure legendary status. More than 370 appearances across nine seasons. A key component in a Liverpool team which won the lot. The end of an era at Anfield.

Not to forget the defender with the highest PL assists.

(Yes I’m choosing to ignore someone).

After all he’s done in Liverpool it’s easy to forget that most people thought his signing was a joke coming from the relegated Hull City.

“A sign of Liverpool’s diminishing ambitions” the naysayers claimed.

Kerkez is stepping up, thought he was decent against PSG. Hakimi is no slouch and Kerkez out paced him.

According to reports, Arsenal are open to offers for Lewis Skelly in the summer, should we be interested?

  4. What a man, what an incredible player he’s been. Easily one of the best left backs the premier league has ever seen

Could he make it into our top 10 signings? He can’t be far off if he doesn’t. For £8 million he was an absolute steal.

  6. We’ve been so blessed over the years to have the likes of Robbo as a mainstay in the starting XI for such a long time.

  7. This is a long shot, is someone able to point me in the right direction to get a new, still in the box Andy Robertson funko pop. It doesn’t need to be signed. I live in South Africa and have just not been able to find 1.

  8. Supporter favorite for good reason, probably the best sense of humor of the group, and our shithouse when needed. Legend. He’ll be missed

  9. Honestly for money spent and output he must be the best in PL history. Milner probably just pips him as a free transfer.

this one hits a little different because i remember watching liverpool with someone who cared way more than me at the time, and i didn’t fully get it until moments like this 😭 i’d just see players come and go, but he’d talk about them like they were part of his life story. now when i see posts like this i kinda understand that feeling more, like it’s not just about the player, it’s about all the time and memories attached to them. makes me wonder which random things i’m attached to like that without even realizing it

  11. The last British bastion of a transferred in player who has a real connection with the supporters, the city and the club

    Legend status

From “life at this age is rubbish with no money” to “Working class hero”

To our greatest ever left back and one of our best servants. It’s a very sad day. At least he leaves with his head held high and forever part of our lore
