At the end of last month, local residents joined Brentford FC Community Sports Trust at the Clubhouse Café for a morning of gentle exercise and socialising. The monthly sessions aim to boost wellbeing and inclusivity in Hounslow.

The coffee morning included a gentle, inclusive session designed for all abilities to help improve balance, build strength, and support safer, more confident movement in daily life. Delivering a range of chair-based and supported exercises, the session was accessible and enjoyable for everyone who attended.

In addition to the exercises, the group enjoyed a complimentary coffee and pastry, with some glowing reviews!

The coffee mornings run monthly. If you are interested in finding out more or attending the next one, contact: health@brentfordfccst.com.

The Health and Wellbeing coffee mornings at the Clubhouse Café are supported by the Premier League and Professional Footballer’s Association (PFA). Administered through the Premier League Foundation, the funding helps football clubs to tackle inequality and respond to local challenges, supporting people and their communities to be more inclusive.

This season, 24 professional football club community organisations across the Premier League and English Football League are delivering projects supported by the Premier League and PFA in their local communities.

Nationally, these funded projects have engaged more than 230,000 unique participants in more than 330,000 sessions across England and Wales. Projects are supported by current and former professional football players, and scholars, to enhance the impact on participants.
