A crash was reported between a grey car and a pedestrian in Wimborne Road, near to the junction with Leslie Road, at around 5.20pm on Saturday, March 28.
It is alleged the driver of the car failed to stop at the scene.
The pedestrian, a man aged in his 20s, was taken to hospital with injuries that are not believed to be serious.
Police are now hunting for the driver, and are urging them ‘to do the right thing’ and come forward.

“I would also like to make a plea to the driver of the vehicle involved to please do the right thing and come forward so we can take your account of what happened.”
