I thought Jorell Hato from Ajax would of been better as he's cover at LB as well as LCB.
I think backup is great, but I also think it gives tactical flexibility and unpredictability. If Arteta becomes more flexible he can unlock more opportunities. Also I think it shows signs that Berta is trying to change the clubs attitude. Arsenal are a big club and need to adopt a big club mentality. That means winning now and continuing to win in the future.
