The only way is if the boys have a meeting & say fuck it lads. Let’s ditch the instructions that have clearly not worked at all this season & let’s work on doing what we know can work. Play forward quicker with riskier passes, actually protect our back 4, do the basics, work hard & try to play to our strengths. Then we’d even have the Anfield factor if the fans saw any of that. Only then they might be able to dig out a few results.
But they have 0 chance if they do what they’ve done all season & Dom should know this.
3 maybe 4 players can hold their heads up, Szobs being one of them, but the rest have definitely thrown the towel in. Fact that any player even says as much tells you all you need to know.
negativity aside, if Dom drops two world class performances, we have a chance. I know the trend is going downwards and there is legitimately almost no thread to hang on to right now, but we have shown this year atleast in the champions league, that everything is possible in 90 minutes.
Since we have sir Klopp, no matter what squad we have, I always believe will be able to pull off something, we always go in with hope. Is been quite a while I don’t felt so hopeless looking at the team. 0 chance going to Budapest, 1% going pass PSG. No change of manager no hope!
Even if we somehow beat a far better team in PSG it’s Bayern or Real in the semis. Hard to see us playing well enough for 4 games to do it
