Firefighters were called to the fire off Leeson Drive shortly before 7pm on Easter Sunday, April 5.
Six fire crews attended from Verwood, Redhill Park, Springbourne and Westbourne, along with two appliances from Christchurch.
Two lightweight offroad vehicles from Ferndown and Wimborne also attended along with a water carrier from Ringwood.
A spokesperson for Dorset & Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “On arrival, they found a fire affecting an area of approximately 100 by 200 metres and firefighters used four main lines and two hose reel jets to extinguish.”
The fire was extinguished by 8.14pm.
