      As a United fan I used to be very critical of Harry but he’s bounced back and redeemed himself over the last 2 years. He should be admired for that perseverance and professionalism.

      It would have been madness to not renew! Look how much he’s played this season despite us having no European or cup football. A big team would have 💯 snapped him up if we’d have released him. He’s also a great leader and we are in real short supply of those.

      Tell you know absolutely nothing about Football and Manchester United without telling me by telling me this Harry Maguire extension is terrible. There are players in that Squad, especially that defence that should be leaving well before the likes of Maguire, starting with those perennial sicknotes, that dwarf Martinez who gets bullied and rag dolled at set pieces and should be nowhere near the PL and Luke 'taking the piece for the last 5 years' Shaw.

      Alex Crook calls himself a United fan but just felt the need to quote that parasite Jason Wilcox. Not the first time he’s been out of touch with the fanbase given he often praises INEOS and supported them coming into the club. Stay away from the club Alex.

      What a sham… he is a fkn loser. Plays the ball back more than he plays forward. Can't win a race against a snail man! No where near the quality of what a United defender should be, never was. Leicester City laughing all the way to the bank offloading this brick

      It's easy to blame everything on Amorim, but Maguire was actually one of his key men. He was injured at the start of the season, and De Ligt was rightfully ahead of him at the time. His case was very different from Mainoo's, who didn't fit Amorim's system at all

      Im not a Utd fan, but I was always disgusted by the clueless idiots slagging him off. In my opinion they were sheep just going along with the medias latest target. Most of abuse he was getting was ridiculous. There was another 10 players on the pitch, none of them were performing. But he was the easy target. Best of luck to the lad, I hope he wins a trophy.

      But my only worry about central defender situation is the next manager whoever it may be should manage game time for all central defenders. We have Deligt, Martinez, Maguire and good young defenders like Yoro and Heaven who deserve game time as well

      This club will never become a great club if they continue to reward mediocrity. This emotional attachment to players is what keeps us in the bin.
