Says something that despite having a squad that just won the league (plus a couple of legit marquee signings) it feels like we could use basically all/any of them and it would improve us? Mostly it says we shouldn’t be nearly as bad as we have been. But still, one Sami to marshal the defence, a Didi for a little steel in midfield, and a Dirk for the press from the front I think helps us most given our current issues (I know, I know, there’s Robbie and Nando but since Hugo has mostly been a bright spot they improve us less than the others)

Of that list? Didi and Kuyt, and/or Carra. Virg’s comments about the team giving up is incredibly damning and our midfield is far too easily countered. Those three players would light a fire up the arse of a lot of this team this season.
