He made up for an awful mistake. I’m thankful for his effort but I wouldn’t call this generational.

Khusanov is excellent defensively but I for one think this isn’t one of his finest moments.
The Salah of old (and most other players) score there with this much time . Credit to him for getting back in there but this could have easily been very different
Look at how hard he fights for that ball, and he just refuses to give up and thanks to that he can deflect Salah’s shot perfectly.
He’s been so solid everytime he’s played, yet everytime he’s brought up by pundits and commentators, the only thing they can say is his 1 mistake against Chelsea on his debut after being thrown in the starting 11 against a top 6 side in a team and country where he doesn’t speak or understand the main language.
I mean it was his fault here, salah took a horrible touch afterwards but a great block regardless
Also check out Guehi’s positioning here. Instead of blindly charging Salah, he’s trusting Trafford with the shot and blocking a potential easy pass & goal to a player across the box.
