No matter the quality of opposition, having a “second string trial by fire” XI in a FA cup QF is not ideal. Chelsea had a strong(er) XI playing port vale, rock bottom in league 1
Edit: obviously the situations is vastly different but having 1 starting quality player (not including half fit ødegaard) playing in a decently high stakes competition is just a terrible idea

All well and good to say that the domestic cups don’t matter as much as a league title, but given that our draws for both were very favourable overall it’s a real shame that we didn’t come away with at least one of them.

I think the Saka is clearly Dowman.
I hope Nwaneri will be more than ESR, but i would say he will be at least that level – I think he has potential to be the Wilshere, hopefully without the injuries.
I think MLS will be the Nketiah and it wont take as long either, unfortunately…
