Anyone else worried of the fact that they are just being wasted away with these loans ? When they can each fill in gaps in our squad. Winger , striker , midfielder, defender. Will De zerbi have an eye out for these boys ? I try to watch each of them as much as I can to see if their is something in these players that has improved ever since the loans spells . Mikey moore is looking far better and is a perfect playmaker/winger for rangers at the moment. Lankshear is giving his all in a oxford side fighting relegation and I see alot of his games and he is definitely a target man for them . The hold up play , the bullying, the physicality and the determination he has to get the ball is rewarding to watch. Get him in now . Devine is on 8 goals and 3 assists currently and his hunger for ball possession is something we need . Quick feet, playmaker, a young hungry midfielder that’s always been wanting a go with us and this upcoming season no matter the end result, is the perfect time to bring them in . Finally for phillips , a old school no nonsense defender, good for those physical battles and arieal duels . Puts his body on the line , good recovery pace , reminds me of danso and a bit of vdv . These boys are the closest to have their “breakthrough”and it needs to be with us , COYS .

Mikey performed so well with Ange… Frank was so stupid sending him to loan, mannnnnnn

Have a good mate who supports Oxford. Even if the numbers aren’t massive  he says Lankshears contribution to the team is HUGE.

Nope. They’re playing for teams to help them develop as better players, either for the first team or fattening the bird up to be sold.

If we go down, we can utilise a few of them next season, but as much as I love Jamie Donley, for example and think he’s a very good player – I don’t see a top 6 Premier League player in there.

Although I said the same about Harry Kane when he was 17 and was massively wrong.

  4. Surprised you see these loans as wasted. Mikey’s loan in particular has been fantastic for his development, while Lankshear and Devine have had really solid loans too.

Realistically I don’t think any wouldve got enough consistent game-time this team if they’d stuck around. We would’ve actively harmed most of them had they stayed – Frank barely trusted Bergvall in his best position let alone Devine or Moore.

Next season we can see where they’re at – some will get serious gametime at Spurs if we get relegated otherwise I think another loan for Moore and Lankshear would be good. Need to make a decision on Devine, though – either integrate him or sell.
