Massive difference between actual fans attending matches and the FIFA rotted smooth brain 16 year old from California in the Match Thread

Good I’m glad stadium support is still there (it’s strong) and that’s what matters. I will support this manager and team until the very end because that’s my job and their job is to deliver me a trophy this season. We can have a discussion based on how the season ends.

  3. Not all fans represent the toxic base that’s AFTV. I hope the channel shuts down at some point.

  4. Good. We need to gain every and any advantage we can in the title race, no matter how small, and this is one of them.

I was at the game and was surrounded by some of the most negative match going fans I’ve ever encountered in person (and I’m a 20 year ST holder). Luckily my group drowned them out with songs for the majority of the game, but the negativity is still there in person. I don’t really understand why people with such a negative attitude go to games. Surely it’s easier and cheaper to mumble your way through the game in the warmth of your own home.

Yep. Southampton game wasn’t that deep. We are in an extremely favorable position in the Premier League for the first time ever in 22 years as we go against teams that we all beat in the reverse fixture and are placed in the bottom ten of the league table besides City. We also have a 9-point cushion–I know there is a game in hand, but City and any team for that matter are never guaranteed points.
