Khusanov, Guehi and Goatiol are all better than him, but what do we actually know?
New RB, Khusa, Guehi and Gvardiol LB.
If pep remains, I agree Ruben will be captain and will play.
I think on merit it would be Gvardiol and Khusanov. What we may see is more of a back 3 look with all 3 and Guehl as the primary reserve.
It’s gunna be interesting to say the least. Khusanov has been class, Ruben Dias performance has slumped, Gvardiol will be fit again, guehi has shown starting quality. Maybe Ruben Dias will be sold?
Gvardiol may take awhile to be fully fit after the leg break tbf

I think back 4 (LB / RB plus CBs) will be Nunes, khusanov, Guehi and Gvardiol) with O’Reilly taking over for Bernardo in MF.
My ideal back line, rb: nunes, rcb: kusanov, lcb: guehi, lb: gvardiol
I think all four have their unique uses and the partnership will depend on the opponent/occasion
All four will play loads during the season, no need to brand two as starters and the other two as bench players.
Rodri extension comes with the arm band.
I’d honestly love to see a back 3 like we had in the treble season, with Gvardiol/Guehi/Khusanov and Nunes as a RB inverting into midfield
