The former Elmers Court Hotel is being transformed into a year-round coastal retreat, inspired by the relaxed charm of The Hamptons.

Described as a laid-back luxury hotel, it promises relaxed dining experiences, a world-class spa, and 118 top notch bedrooms.
Founder Nicolas Roach said: “What makes Lymington special is that combination of the estuary, the sailing culture, and the New Forest on your doorstep – you’ve got this constant connection between land and water. That’s what we’ve leaned into.
“The Hamptons influence felt natural here because the lifestyle already exists – you’re out on the river, walking through the forest, then coming back into something social and relaxed. It’s about elevating what’s already here, not changing it.”
THE NICI New Forest in Lymington has everything from elegant sea view suites to stylish apartments perfect for family breaks, utilising a palette of soft sands and ocean blues in its décor.
Martha’s, an upscale informal restaurant, celebrates the bounty of the Solent with a focus on produce-driven seafood and locally sourced ingredients.
Elms Cafe will provide an all-day social hub. Inspired by classic American staples, the menu is set to include everything from morning bowls to burgers.

The world-class spa combines an indoor pool with extensive thermal and hydro experiences, ten treatment rooms and serene relaxation spaces, alongside a state-of-the-art fitness studio.
Beyond the spa, guests can take advantage of the juice bar, lounge areas, tennis courts, and a heated outdoor pool.
Families can take advantage of Pebbles Kids Club, with complimentary activities, alongside daily screenings at the hotel’s private cinema.
The expansive estate offers guests plenty of space to roam, with manicured gardens overlooking the Solent and easy access to Lymington’s vibrant yachting community.

The NICI has quickly become one of the UK’s most exciting new hotel brands since its inaugural site opened to high acclaim in summer 2022.
NICI Newquay is also set to open in 2026, with other sites being identified for the group’s expansion.
