I know we talk a lot about bottle, but the way Hearts just looked absolutely lost after the 2nd Livingston goal doesn’t look great for their mentality. Nobody wanting to step up or drive forward, losing the ball, and honestly Livi looked by far the more likely to win.

Hearts were infuriating to watch after the second Livi goal. Their build-up play was so slow and their midfielders were desperate to pass it sideways into the middle of the park instead of taking a risk. They also didn’t put anyone up the park when defending set pieces, even in added time.
Halkett was honking. Lewis Smith and Stevie May were really good.
Top of the table is like a knife fight in a telephone booth now.

Thank fuck we dont need to play Livi again this season. Fair play to them. Still Hearts title to lose, but if you and Celtic could just draw your remaining games that would be just swell.

Well, that’s that. The reaction to the equaliser was so disappointingly pathetic for a team with so much to fight for. I really thought Hearts would kick on and score but they looked totally lost.
I’ve never been a doomsayer and thought/wanted to believe Hearts could really do it as it would be amazing for the league I think. But 1 from 12 in their last four away games – I just can’t see it now.
