But In a 100 years you’d never see Kenny or Stevie react that way. He should be asked what he intended to convey. That’s not a future captains response. Shameful if it’s what it looks like.

Yeah this is still part of the narrative that changing the manager will solve everything.
Our problems run much deeper & no manager change alone will solve it.
Ask yourself this? Do you want to see us sign Olise in the summer? If the answer is yes, you are part of the problem.

Szoboszlai can fuck off.

He would be best served keeping his feet on the ground.
He’s been one of our best players in one of our worst seasons in recent memory and bro thinks he is Messi.
This is the second time he’s done that.
He should remember that the fans pay his salary, he should be performing for them. Not them performing for him.
Aren’t there characters like Szoboszlai on here who go after people criticizing the manager and some players? Calling them fake fans, joined during Klopp years, etc. It seems disingenuous to be surprised by the disconnect when there are literally thousands on here who are the same.

In fairness this isn’t the first time he pulls something like this. He was also acting the same way when the Anfield crowd was booing Alexander Arnold.
Imo it’s typical for guys like Szoboszlai to feel disconnected from what fans go through, experience and feel. Since the age of like 5 he knew he’d be a professional player and at a high level, if you have read his story. He might have grown watching and loving football but he’s never been a fan in the typical sense. He’s never seen football from the eyes of a football fan, only from the eyes of someone who’s always been groomed to be a professional football player ever since he was in a conscious age. He sees fans as a prop – for support, for confidence, for ego boost, for making money, for raising popularity. And when they’re showing something different from the mentioned things, he’s completely flabbergasted as the tool is no longer serving the way it’s supposed to. It’s common for football prodigies.

Great player. Amazing free kicks.
