Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole (BCP) Council intends to make temporary traffic regulations to facilitate sewer lining works by Wessex Water.

The organisation has assured that emergency services will still have full access and entry to properties will depend on safety conditions.

The planned works may extend beyond the expected dates if delayed by weather conditions.

Under the current temporary traffic regulation order, the restrictions could remain in effect for up to 18 months.

Restrictions could be further extended with the approval of the Secretary of State.
