Southampton has stunned Premier League leaders Arsenal, knocking them out of the FA Cup and dashing the Gunners’ dreams of a treble.
Fans at St Mary’s Stadium erupted as super sub Shea Charles fired the late winner, and firing the Saints to Wembley.
The Championship side are the only non-Premier League side left in the competition, following Port Vale’s 7-0 defeat to Chelsea earlier.
It is the third time they have reached the cup semi-finals in the last 10 years – another chance to see if they can replicate their famous FA Cup win in 1976.

Mikel Arteta’s Gunners arrived at St Mary’s as overwhelming favourites, still hanging on to hopes of a treble after their Carabao Cup final defeat to Manchester City a fortnight ago.

Arsenal failed to really threaten, until Arteta made a triple change. Gyokeres levelled the score minutes after he was subbed on.
The Gunners had some near goals, but it was Shea Charles who came off the bench to land the knockout blow.
It was just a fifth defeat of the campaign for Arsenal, who sit nine points clear at the top of the Premier League but have plenty of soul searching to do after costly back-to-back cup losses.
