She accuses the Conservatives of abandoning Poole because they’re not putting forward any candidates.
She and her Liberal Democrat group insisted on pushing through these town councils despite their being very little support and more objectors than supporters.
In short, they pushed something through against the wishes of the local residents.
It is the Liberal Democrats who have abandoned us residents of Poole by going against our wishes and not the Conservatives.
She also refers to the recent Talbot and Branksome Woods by election.
This election took place before the decision was made to impose town councils.
Had this election taken place after that decision I suggest the result would have been very different.
The Liberal Democrats would’ve received very few votes.
