We still believe this season can be saved before the final game, but today another two points are lost, as big black holes are still there.
Players who should by instinct block these situations, just freeze and does the total opposite. This must be very frustrating for a manager trying to address this week in and week out.
Patson Daka showed willingness to work hard and if he continues this way for the rest of the season, he will be rewarded in many ways. He has scored over 100 goals in his career, which is a tally to be proud off. So far this season he is on 5 goals in 15 starts, which is a relatively good convertion rate.
From this website we have talked up a three men attack with Jeremy Monga, Abdul Fatawu and Stephy Mavididi. But at this point in the season with this trio never been played together it looks a fatal mistake to introduce that combination at this point.
We believe the trio playing up front today should be given the chance. The fact that Jordan Ayew is seen as an alternative in this setting is alarming. Jordan Ayew is not a proper top attacking option and for those talking about him as an option, must have missed out on his performances for Ghana. He play as a flank.
Gary Rowett watch these players week in and week out and from his judgement should understand and be in position to act on what he has seen. The fact that he rates Jordan Ayew as a top attacking option is a fatal and very wrong judgement. The Ghana international has no contribution in this area for his national team.

The problem for Gary Rowett is his judgement and acts from the bench. He will not make the correct moves in the games coming up, often eager to do changes at the end when most of what he does never really materilise in Leicester winning games. He has achived one win in eight, something that can not be said to be a success.
Preston was a very weak opponent and when taking the lead it was again sureal to see those black hole moments. This is leadership and lack of controll in both halfs of the field. Today shots were seen from distance, when we instead should have seen passes.
Leicester players often reach the goal line but the final pass is often brain dead, as they just play the ball into an area, instead of having a clear eye on the pass as it reach your team mate. Watching Abdul Fatawu scoring against Germany shows how an act of great passing and also a nice final shot makes a brilliant moment. That shows why we believe Abdul could play in a top attacking position. With Patson Daka clearly having his say today, he should be given the job out the season.
On corners and free kicks, Leicester do not have players in the back area of the penalty box. Abdul Fatawu often sends the ball there. Luke Thomas’s long throws often end in the hands of the goalkeeper. He appears to have no control over where the ball is heading.
The game coming up against Sheffield Wednesday on the 6th of April is extremely crucial. Only a win counts. This season isn’t over at that time. Even with a negative outcome, the Portsmouth game will be the crucial battle to get all points from.
No need to do changes against Sheffield Wednesday and play the same eleven. Jordan James and Jannik Vestergaard are available from the bench. It’s also possible to call on Jeremy Monga and Bobby De Cordova-Reid. These are the players to use to get a win in that very crucial game at Hillsborough.
