Spuds fans are 13% optimistic as they will be heading into next season as favourites to win their league.

Am surprised Chelsea are below Spurs but no surprise are the bottom two

so thats 15.9% is really the noise/Outist who thought they are a large group but in reality just them being a permanent miserable void of an existences.

  4. United fans gotta be the most shameless of the bunch. Used to troll us for wanting top 4 now are literally playing 1 game a month and are optimistic af

  5. Feel like this is likely heavily influenced by recency bias? Suspect Villa and Forest fans wouldn’t have been nearly so optimistic a single game earlier, City fans would’ve been way more negative before the CC final and Arsenal fans would likely have been near the top etc. etc.

I’d interested to know what’s the sample size for each club and what’s the geographic split of the survey…

Nice to see lots of miserable Chelsea, Spuds, Livercucks and Geordie fans. Warms my heart.

It’s clearly no interesting news month so generalising and crap surveys like this pop up. So what’s the sample size here? How many fans of each club took part? Was it equal amounts per club? Source: The athletic survey???
But hey – I’ll still read the discourse around it lol

Genuinely don’t get what Brighton fans are optimistic about. Their squad is being wasted and they don’t have anything to play for. If Fulham fans are so down in the dumps (i.e. bored, safe but midling) then I don’t see why the Seagulls are content

London will be purely red for the next couple of years. They are officially in their banter era.

  13. Seeing Chelsea and Tottenham down there brings joy to my heart, especially Chelsea

Why are united fans so happy? The bare minimum was top 4/5 considering they were out all all.comps by new year….

I’d be pessimistic as fuck too if the best player on my club’s bench is garnacho.
