  1. In that case the whole squad is training ground players as none of them ever show up when it matters🤣🤣 this summer won’t be any different

  2. The same could be said for Jude Belligham he has not played well for Real Madrid this season. I am a United fan and think Foden is a fantastic player but he needs to be played in his favorite position otherwise he is just a bystander.

  3. Saying Foden doesn’t deserve a place’ is a joke, especially when the competition you’re pointing to has also gone quiet. Which England's number 10 is doing anything extra ordinary now to replace a proven winner. Hypocrites, one day you come here discussing how winning needs experience and the other you are trading it for potential might be when the player in question is playing out of position? If you watched Foden single-handedly drive City’s ā€˜four in a row,’ you wouldn’t talk like that. His contribution isn’t something you can hand-wave away with stats, and it definitely shouldn’t be a cover for bias. If you want to argue for someone else, do it on football—not on hate.ā€

  4. BrEAKING NEWS false center foward arrested at england game charged with identy fraud no such thing as a false center foward stop gaslighting treating the fans with contemp t we are not stupid you got set piece coaches showing experianced international footballers how to take free kicks can you imagine telling those great players from the past you hired a set piece coach they would have died laughing

  5. He normally is gabbing to the crows on most things..however on this one hes hit the mark . I've never understood the hype I like the lad but he always struck me as a mood player ,minus the attitude.
Then again we don't like the swagger attitude types do we .

  6. Back in 2024 during the Euros I said Foden is not cut out for international football. He is too slow on the ball, and needs too many touches before making a decision. You need to move the ball quick. One, two touch decisive movements. Foden is not capable of this and looks slow and ponderous. This is not Man City where they are looking for domination and probing for openings, pace makes the difference at international level.

  7. IMO, what Rio meant with what he said is; it's disrespectful to tag a player who played a pivotal role in winning 6 PL a training ground player.
And Gabby, this whole there is a reason the manager isn't playing a player and that justify the player isn't good enough is a joke. A player not
being picked it is often down to the manager's preference. We heard that same silly analogy when Ruben Amorim refused to pick Kobbie Mainoo,
then Michael Carrick came in and KM is playing and MU are winning. Phil Foden, is a fantastic player, all he needs is a run of games.

  8. Rio’s mindset is exactly why the golden generation never won anything. Agree with gabby here – 6 PL titles mean nothing if your not in form

  9. He should never have won player of the year in 2024… He should never been shoehorned into that England team on LW… I wouldn't be taking him to the WC and Gabby is bang on here.

  10. Chelsea fan here honestly yes Foden isn't in form but Pep has underused him this season but the boy is class before Palmer Foden was hands down England's most technically gifted player. I still believe England's best attack Foden and Palmer has to be in it, take him

  11. As a City fan, I followed Philā€˜s career since he first came onto the scene and in my opinion his only position if you want the best out of him is as a 10. Put him in any other position and he will only be average. But let’s not just focus on Foden, we’re always told about a team of world-class players that we are and yet tend to fail to deliver on the world stage. Let’s not get carried away with all the hype, particularly after those last two games! For me, I would include him.
