Hi All – I know the RDZ appointment has stirred up a lot of anger, frustration, and so many other feelings about the club. After some reflection, I had to admit that no matter how much I post about it, there's not a lot I can control here.
So, I decided to channel these feelings into a donation to RAINN – which is the nation's largest anti-sexual violence organization and operator of the National Sexual Assault Hotline. It's a well-respected organization that does a lot of good work for folks.
If you're able, I'd encourage you to do the same.
*If anyone here knows the UK equivalent, please post below!
I'm glad these conversations are happening in male dominated areas. Doing even a small action helps ease the ick around this situation.

Good post. Turning negativity into positivity
Well said. All we can do is operate under our own morality and what we feel is best for us, including all the losers and incels who have flooded this space in the last few days, and this is a great way to do that.

Love this, OP. I’ve been really against this appointment from the outset and it’ll be good to channel that energy into something positive. COYS
Would love if the mods would pin this ngl
Well said, much more productive and actually impactful than any amount of bickering on message boards 👏
For UK charities – Women of the Lane linked [Solace Women’s Aid](https://www.solacewomensaid.org/) at end of their statement and [Refuge are the UKs largest one and run a helpline for domestic abuse](https://refuge.org.uk/)
Does anyone know what would be the equivalent in the UK, such a great idea to promote this with the appointment.
Very nice post and I agree! Let the depth of our emotions move us to action.
GREAT post. We support this organization, working to provide hope and healing to victims of domestic and sexual violence.

And remember – these organizations, especially in the USA at this time – ARE the safety net. Thank you for all who contribute!
Does anyone know of any organizations where I could volunteer my time? I understand that donation is the primary way of showing support but I don’t have funds available for that.
I’ll obviously be researching and looking up places where I can volunteer but wanted to use this opportunity to ask if anyone knew of any places where I could help out. Even if it’s like with online administrative work or data collation or things like that.
I’m gonna be having a few hours free per week for as long as this guy manages our club so would love a good place to put that time. Also down to hear anyone else’s suggestions for things to do.
I recently learned that RAINN was in part founded by singer-songwriter Tori Amos! Great artist, great cause.
Absolutely support these charities but also hit the club where it hurts most, in its pocket. No ticket or merch purchases en masse. This appointment has confirmed my decision to relinquish my season ticket for next season is the right one. I’m not interested in faux apologies and PR fluff. This appointment confirms the lack of a moral compass at Spurs. We’ll be protecting abusers like the Woolwich next. I’m done with this club.
Thank you for doing this. The past couple of days has empowered the absolute worst parts of this fanbase and I’m embarrassed that so many people would rather resort to blind tribalism to defend the club rather than acknowledge the real moral implications of this appointment.
