      Manchester United are looking at him and Wednesday’s edition of Record have a big report with ‘Dahl seduces United’ written in bold.

      He now plays a significant role under José Mourinho, reviving the Red Devils’ memory of following him from the past.

      The Old Trafford club have sent their scouts to follow the Swede over 10 times this season and are pleased with the information gathered so far.

      Record state: *‘The English club appreciates the full-back’s physical robustness and the fact that he has already shown at Benfica his ability to adapt to various systems and even different areas of the field.’*

      This has convinced Manchester United to consider making an offer in the next window. However, the newspaper makes no mention of the fee they are willing to offer or Benfica’s demand or stance for summer sale.

      Last week, Sport Witness covered claims from Spain that Manchester United are leading the way to sign Barcelona left-back Alejandro Balde. It looks like this is a position Michael Carrick’s side are looking to improve after this season.

      Yes to Scandinavian defenders. They’re always solid and tough as hell. The best era of the Premier League was when a Swedish fullback was considered exotic.

      As a Swede I can say that he is decent but Gudmundsson from Leeds and Svensson from Dortmund are better

      Damn I remember benfica having a pretty good young LB a few seasons ago, wonder which academy he came from

      United fan who watches of Benfica in the stadium – he looks like one of their weakest players in possession. I remember him looking particularly nervous in the Real Madrid game, which doesn’t bode well.
      Hopefully this is just a rumour.
