How can the so called "other 14" ever catch up to the big 6?
Even players from Newcastle and Villa, who have been up there with the big boys for a few years now, consistently have their players being linked to bigger clubs. Rogers, Guimaraes, Tonali, Gordon, Kamara etc.

It’s the state of the league. Though it does bug me that we’re seemingly the only club down the bottom that constantly has these rumours around us. Agent games and media nonsense that we just don’t need.

Murillo has been leaving every season so far. Still here. Anderson is only coming to the end of year 2 of a 5 year deal. We hold all the cards.
The odds are he will go, and the same is likely to be true for Murillo and maybe Gibbs White.
The important thing is that we hold on until after the World Cup when in most likelyhood his value will only rise, and more teams may bid for him.
I dont mind links to “big clubs”, means we’ve got a player thats worth something. What bums me out is the fact we did not push on after last season. With chelsea, liverpool and Newcastle being so inconsistent this was a good chance to push on as a club. Unless we win the Europa weve blown it and selling a big name each year is just what you have to do unless you secure consistent champs league football. Ando will go for £90-100m. Does Murillo go as well? Cant see anyone paying the money for MGW now.
2 of the”big clubs” might be in the Championship next year… perhaps we could buy some of their players!!??
