Brighton manager Dario Vidosic: “I think we played a lot of good football and it was just maybe a few more goals were missing out there. We knew they would commit, they were throwing more numbers. We played a few longer passes we didn’t need to. We limited them. We also created enough and we are the deserved winners.
“It was really nice some of the football. Now it’s that you can play it all the way up to the box but all that matters is putting it in the back of the net. It gets us back into the winner’s column and now we get ready for another tough game coming up.
“I think it’s always important, we take each game on its merit and each game we want to win. We want to prepare and continue in the cup. We know Arsenal are a very tough opponent. We need these ones as well to test ourselves. We’ve come away with some good performances so we can take confidence into the game.”
