Liverpool have started the majority of their games this season with a 10 (Wirtz/Szobo), and 2 8's (Grav/Mac/Jones). We seriously lack a "destroyer" archetype in our midfield, a tenacious, ball-winning demon who puts their body on the line for the team. Most number 6's in today's game are also great progressors and possess superb technical ability, we desperately need that kind of player next season.
As a consequence, our midfield gets bypassed every game. None of our midfielders can break up play efficiently, so the midfield is often ran through.

Any of them apart from baleba because he’s similar to gravenberch and we need someone who can just sit deep instead of carrying the ball.

archie gray should deserve a look and maybe a youth investment if they get relegated. rotating him with trey nyoni to get them both more minutes and experience would be my ideal
Caicedo, yes he is unrealistic target but he would be amazing player for us
I wish we could get Caicedo but that’s not going to happen – I’d take Bruno or Tonali, I like both of them and think they would each bring something unique – Bruno would bring passion and leadership, while Tonali would bring ice cold determination and toughness.
Again, if Caicedo was a possibility I would take him immediately.
Im a huge fan of Tonali. If we could get him that would be a dream.
Baleba of these guys.
But beyond these guys, Wharton, Stiller, Gray and Camavinga are all options we should be looking at too
