      Donnarumma misses a kick, Locatelli doesn’t even try and Mancini take a nap…but it’s surely Bastoni’s fault because you have a braccetto playing center mid in a 3 man defense…morons man….

      Same reason as to why are we playing Politano as a Wingback in a 3-5-2 or Retegui up front…it’s always the same shitty mistakes…

      Then the refereeing was pretty bad, 3 sus decisions with no VAR review at the screen…pretty sus

      Bastoni is not CCB so he looks out of position to me.

      Having said that the tackle was unnecessary and asking for DOGSO.

      Replace him with Acerbi in that situation. Was there a big possibility we would’ve conceded? Yes. Would Acerbi have taken a red card? No, never.

      Those kinds of quick decisions that you need to make when analyzing the situation, your positioning and overall read of the game are exactly what’s required from a central centre-back, and Bastoni is not that.
