  1. Many times this season I felt like some players didn’t show up in games. I also saw lots of similar thoughts in match threads and post-match threads. Hopefully here he will be this demanding day one, help us stay up and then help us get rid of those who are not ready to give everything. And maybe they bring in some players that will be

He is a very demanding guy, he wants everyone to work as hard as he does

I think thats basically all the kone situation was, the other guy even said he had said to kone multiple times “you have to do more, its not enough”

Honestly it will be nice to hold our players accountable and clear out the dead weight

  4. I don’t see anything wrong with this….why do so many comments make this seem to be some sort of horrific treatment?

  5. Seen some things I’ve not been keen on but I haven’t got any issue with what he’s saying here

This is what the players need to hear, dont want to play for the club and put in a fight for the badge? Fuck off.

Don’t mind this at all. With the long-term contract (regardless of how long he stays), the players need to know it’s his way or GTFO of the club. We’ve accepted shitty attitudes for far too long. They need to be responsible, or sit in with the reserves.

Hopefully he can address the reactivity problem. Players are too reactive and not proactive

There will be players that fall out and crash out with De Zerbi, just hope it’s one of the shit ones (of which we have many)

  10. He’s speaking Italian

    With someone translating to French

When the main subject of the speech is an English player?

  11. He’s the best available manager, Enic are selling their souls to stay up. I believe he’ll be able to do that.

    Poch:

World Cup Winning Confidence: In an interview on the High Performance Podcast, Pochettino recalled a brief meeting with Trump at the World Cup draw where Trump asked if the U.S. could win the tournament. Pochettino replied, “Of course, Mr. President… It’s the USA. When we accept the challenge to be there, it’s because we truly believe we can win”.

i actually think the players need this kind of team level criticism in order to gain consistency across 90 minutes
