  1. You can only be so disappointed. When you think you’re at the bottom, there is a depth below. Tactically a much better and exciting manager than Frank I give him that.

“hey we considered that this coach might be a sexual assault sympathizer, but we found out that we don’t give a shit because we are ghouls only concerned about the bottom line”

“Greenwood issue considered” and “Overwhelming first choice” together is unbelievably damning of Spurs’ top brass.

    *”Greenwood issue considered”*

Of course it was considered. They don’t really give a toss though.

Considering how much of an ass he has been to young players in the past, I feel sorry for some of the players we have.

It was Vinai who was considering it so not shocking that fucker brushed it off.

I’ve cancelled my membership because fuck this. “Issue considered” is such placating bullshit when they really don’t give a shit.

  7. Kinda makes sense that he is committed even if we go down. In his eyes he probably sees it as a chance to completely shape a huge club in his image and he won’t get that opportunity anywhere else

  8. His appointment is a really terrible idea. So no Poch then? Since his sacking it’s been a disaster ever since, apart from one bloody minded Aussie who sacrificed pretty much everything including his job to actually get us a trophy.

You all wear Nike products. And doing so “considered” how they mass produce those products.. hint hint child labor..

I’m glad this forum seems to be universally lambasting De Zerbi for his support of Greenwood. Just struggling to understand where the universal moral outrage was in castigating Manor Solomon for supporting heinous crimes too.

Good football appointment..He will undoubtedly be questioned about the Greenwood issue, let the man speak. I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s the first thing he deals with.

Tottenham will now find new levels of embarrassing the fans. The toughest period is yet to come. High risk football will exhausted or incapable players only goes one way.

Sami Mokbel – what tier is he for Tottenham? I just heard him on the BBC Monday Night Club podcast and he sounded quite connected and ITK with us. Sounded like a decent journo

Anyway I’ll get started early – RDZ out LOL

  14. They say the Greenwood issue was considered, but they have clearly massively underestimated the issue.

What a bunch of fucking idiots?!

BBC Sport has an article about the appointment followed immediately by an article from the supporters denouncing it. It doesn’t really get much worse than that from a PR perspective.

We have a squad that is already filling miserably to perform. Now we run the risk of having players outright refuse to play under this manager.

Just don’t sign greenwood, dont even consider it for a second that’s all I ask of this incompetent board

  16. I’ve supported this club for over two decades through it all. This is the first time it’s given me the ick.

  17. New manager that plays attacking football. Should be good for us who go to games.

  18. The_Turtle_Bear on

“Greenwood issue considered”….and dismissed, who cares if this issue splits the fans.

  19. My real question for us fans is, what now?

I’m disappointed in the club’s decision to hire a manager who is a hot head who seemingly cares more about football than morals/values. That’s a given.

Now that it’s happening, are we supposed to boo the manager out so we get relegated and suffer another significant financial loss by sacking him?

I’m all for us as a club having high standards, but I feel like I’m still going to want the team to succeed on the pitch. Of the options we could have gotten (bar Poch), he’s tactically one of the best and absolutely matches the style of play fans want.

Very torn on this but feel I may need to back the manager and give him a chance.

Its done. We just have to accept it and get on his side to at least avoid relegation

  21. humanpoweroutage on

Wouldn’t be surprised if they “considered” the prospect of signing Greenwood ffs

  22. visionsofreptar on

Disgusting… queue the Greenwood links this summer. Not backing this club that entertains the rapist.

  23. “Well we’re already at rock bottom.”

“You can always move laterally at rock bottom”

  24. Oh really? They considered that he’s an apologist? Great stuff. Vinai and Lange out. Shocker a former Arsenal employee is making bad decisions here.

  25. SilenceMumImVibing on

I can only assume their consideration of the Greenwood issue was that the fans won’t care if he wins games and keeps us up. As such, I think it’s important we do keep caring until he’s gone and/or publicly 180s on his comments and makes amends

  26. IntellegentIdiot on

Smacks of Conte. Sounds like he didn’t want us and now we got rid of a decent manager and threw a ton of money at him
