The member of the public was caught ‘helping themselves’ to items inside the vehicle

Police arrested a woman after she was caught looting a vehicle at the scene of a Leicester collision.
Officers had initially responded to the incident outside the Leicester Royal Infirmary, in Welford Road on the morning of Sunday, March 29.
The black Citroen caused substantial damage to street furniture, leaving exposed traffic‑light wiring and debris scattered across the road, according to the force.
The vehicle itself was also heavily damaged, and the driver had reportedly fled the scene prior to police arriving.
Upon arrival, Leicester City Police said they found a 45-year-old woman helping herself to items from the damaged vehicle.
The woman was later found to be wanted for other offences, and police subsequently arrested her on suspicion of theft.
She was later released pending further enquiries and an investigation is ongoing.
Enquiries are also being carried out in a bid to locate the driver.
Police have appealed for anyone in the area before, during or after the incident, as well as anyone with details that may assist the investigation to come forward.
