Gotta be one of the hardest national teams in history to break in to as a CB. France seems like its had 10 international level CBs knocking about for over a decade, Yoro will have to really earn that spot on the squad. Seeing him as U21 captain seems perfect for his current development though.

I’ve been dying to see more of Heaven this season due to his elite physical traits and line breaking passes, but I think Yoro justified to be ahead of him based on the past few months. Excited to see them play together next season, hopefully. More likely they each partner a more mature CB though.

The culture in the French national team is 100% African now isn’t it. It has for a long time been African influenced, but I can’t see anyone in there with French heritage.

Not a dig, because if you’re good enough and want to play for France then it is what it is, but it’s just strange to see.
