can definitely feel the difference now that Son’s gone

Really missing Madders and Son in the dressing room.

Get rid of Romero and Vicario and we’ll be fine

I’ve been saying it all season. Romero ain’t the guy! He constantly goes “oh fine I’ll do it all myself” and then either gets a red card or loses the shape in the back.

At what level is this? Cause i can garuntee man city with no leaders and pep would be better than man city with leaders and with frank de boer as coach
How do you even quantify that data it males no sense

I don’t doubt the captain/player leadership is more important than most people think but to say he’s twice as important as the manager is ridiculous to me. The manager decides the tactics and formation. Creates matchups hopefully in our favor. Makes the subs that can impact the game positively or negatively etc.
It’s on the players to ultimately execute the game plan but the manager needs to set everyone up for success. Which hasn’t happened here in quite a while.

I do think our club is in a weird spot with Romero because he’s not a good captain even though he’s a good player but if you take the captaincy from him then he’s going to be even more toxic in the dressing room.
