To be fair to the lad there’s clearly a player in there. Was inches away from winning a penalty and scoring against Fulham and clearly performs on the international stage

Also he’s come in to frankly a circus of managerial appointments, Edu has come in for a lot of stick but we haven’t made the right environment for any of our new signings to settle. I slightly worry about us throwing the baby out with the bath water in the summer but I really do think most of our signings could do with a bit more time to settle

Apart from Lucca who is clearly shite

    Everyone’s forgetting Sangare here?

He was showing no signs of what he could do when he fist joined – basically took him a full season to show us the player he is and now look at him? One of our best most important players.

I think Dan is showing us some signs now of what he can do, like against Fulham he scored a cracking goal – to be ruled offside by less than an inch?

We need to keep him in the squad – I think he will come good!

I put him in the same category as Bakwa, McAtee and Hutchinson – probably quite good but hasn’t really had a very settled first season…. Lets see what they are like next year….

  4. I’m going to avoid falling for clickbait and hope that he’s self-aware enough to recognise that it’s his own form that has held him back.

If he works hard, cuts out the silly errors, and finds a way to translate his international form to the league and Europa then he can still have a bright future here.

I can’t actually blame many players this season it must be extremely hard to find form and adjust to the premier league when you are run by literal clowns that change your manager ever 5 seconds
