A Leicester city centre hotel is bidding to bring live music, plays and films to its premises until the early hours of the morning.

The plans, if approved, would see entertainment running seven days a week.

The bid has been lodged by Jan & Sach Hotels Ltd for its 19-21 St Nicholas Place premises, with Leicester City Council set to consider the plans. If granted, the licence would cover a packed programme of entertainment seven days a week.

Under the proposals, plays would be permitted indoors and outdoors between 4pm and 10pm daily.

Live music indoors would run from 5pm until 1am, while films could be screened inside from 9pm until midnight each night.

The application also covers late night refreshment indoors and outdoors between 11pm and 5am, seven days a week.

Alcohol would be permitted to be supplied on the premises around the clock, Monday to Sunday, according to the notice.

Residents and interested parties have until Wednesday, April 15 to submit written representations about the application.

Further details on making a valid representation are available on the council website or by calling the Licensing Team on 0116 454 3040.
