On March 27, Bournemouth police said they have have been cracking down on illegal parking, shoplifting and responding to a busy Friday evening crash.
During a late shift patrol, officers spent time speaking with motorists and warning them about the dangers of parking on zig-zag markings near pedestrian crossings.
Police said the restrictions are in place to protect pedestrians and improve visibility for drivers.
The team also responded to further reports of shoplifting as part of ongoing efforts to support businesses and tackle retail crime in the town.
In addition, officers attended a road traffic collision during the Friday evening rush hour, which caused disruption for motorists.
Police said the scene was dealt with quickly, allowing traffic flow to return to normal as safely and efficiently as possible.
Bournemouth Police thanked members of the public for their patience and cooperation while officers carried out their work.
