Just another example of having all the talent, but no luck. To make it to the very top in football you need to have so much go your way, as well as having the ability. Shame that we never got to see what he could do. Everything I heard and read about Charly at the time made me think he was going to be a superstar for us.

Must’ve been tough to be stuck in the middle
I remember watching a game they streamed live on YouTube and he was playing for the u21’s or something and he looked like Messi against amateurs it was insane. He was so obviously better than everyone else.
Crazy the perspective of how good the first team guys have to be that he wasn’t even close
