Foden always looks lost with England for some reason, like he’s uncomfortable, he’s only known the Pep system in his entire career so anything other than that is foreign to him, affecting his decision making, that’s about the only thing that makes his England performances a bit worse than at City
Exactly he wasn’t bad. Do’n’t know why he’s so scared to shoot now though. Guy rathers to back pass when he has space to shoot.
A number 10 needs to take risks and Foden didn’t, just played it really safe. He’s clearly lacking in confidence, he needs more self belief, it’s a shame.
Looking at highlights of 23/34 Foden earlier ,and the risks this guy would take ,the balls he had ,he would shoot from 25 yards because he knew he had the capability to put it top bins. He would be surrounded by 3-4 players and one half turn later hes clear and in space. Foden just needs to remember who tf he is
Phil is my favourite player of all time, I’ve told so may people that he’d one day win a Ballon Dor, I’ve supported him through everything, but… yeah he’s shot. These people are right. I really hope he can find form again but I’m losing hope that it will be in a city shirt

Foden has always been bad for england though. For us from like 20-24 he was amazing but now… He’s not making the starting 11 they have too many good midfielders to choose from, eze, bellingham, rogers etc…
I thought he was quite good.
Tbh he didnt do much, but past performances and versatility make him 100% likely to be on that plane. He aint starting tho
English people care more about their Club than the national team in general
That might offend some people around here but that’s the general impression I have from an outsider
Eg. If you told an English football fan that only one thing would happen in the next 4 years their club team wins the Premier League/ucl or the English national team wins the World Cup a bunch of English football fans would choose for their club team to win the premier league or UCL
This is just not true in most countries
