Francisco Conceicao has been mooted as one of the names that could arrive at Liverpool once Mohamed Salah departs.

Salah will leave for free in the summer, and a wide variety of players have been mooted to come in, including a seven-man attacking shortlist.

Elsewhere, we have seen Conceicao named as a target for Liverpool, and his price tag has now been reported to be around €60m-65m.

Which players should Liverpool target to replace Mohamed Salah this summer? 🤔

A seven-man shortlist has already been reported:

Journalist Rudy Galetti shared the update on X/Twitter and was also quick to mention that the Juventus star is one of several names under consideration at Anfield.

He wrote: “Liverpool have shown interest in Francisco Conceição as a potential future replacement for Salah, though he is one of several names on the list.

“Under contract with Juventus until 2030, the are valuing Chico at around €60/65m.”

That works out at around £52m, which could be a solid price tag given what has been said about the winger previously.

Speaking as Portugal’s head coach in 2024, Roberto Martinez said, as per TNT Sports: “Francisco is an example of what it means to deserve to be in the team and be prepared to help the group as well,” he said.

“He has incredible maturity, he has a scent for danger inside the area and he showed it. For a coach, seeing him come off the bench and show what he showed is very important.”

Elsewhere, when speaking earlier this month, as per Ilbianconero, former Juventus player Fabio Quagliarella called the reported Liverpool target ‘perfect’.

He stated when reacting to a goal: “The goal alone is worth the price of admission, truly beautiful.

“It’s a finish with an extremely high difficulty coefficient. In those cases, you have an 80 percent chance of shooting into the corner and a 20 percent chance of finding the target because the ball bounces in front of you. Conceiçao not only hit the target, but he sent the ball into the top corner. The timing and impact were perfect. Hats off, though…”

The 23-year-old, who is under contract in Turin until 2030, has four goals and three assists in 34 club appearances so far this term.
