Everton have reportedly joined West Ham and Arsenal in the race to secure the services of Rangers defender Emmanuel Fernandez.
The English centre-back has been a revelation since his move to Ibrox in the summer, and has become one of the first names on the team sheet for Danny Rohl.
Rangers signed Fernandez for over £3m, and he is proving to be worth the outlay, contributing at both ends of the pitch.

According to Sportsboom journalist Ekrem Konur, the Gers are looking at a fee of around £34.5m to part ways with the 24-year-old.
Along with Everton, there is genuine interest from Germany as well, with Borussia Dortmund and Bayer Leverkusen keen on Fernandez.
Konur names Arsenal and West Ham as suitors, but Rangers News reported that Chelsea were also in the race to secure his services.
However, no contact has been made so far for the defender, but a summer exit cannot be ruled out at this stage.
Via X, Konur wrote: “Everton are monitoring Emmanuel Fernandez, with Rangers demanding €40M.
“Borussia Dortmund & Bayer Leverkusen, monitoring from Germany.
“Arsenal & West Ham, showing Premier League interest.”

While fans and Rohl will not want it, they will have to accept that Fernandez is a man in demand and the interest in his services is only expected to increase in the coming months.
If the club can convince the defender to stay despite big-money bids arriving, then he could be there for at least another year.
However, the lure to play for some of the Premier League’s big clubs and the hefty pay hike that comes with it will make it exceedingly hard to keep him in Scotland.
The positive is that the Ibrox outfit will make a huge profit from his sale, and that money can then be used to reinvest in other areas.
