      Vinicius gets fouled 10.4 times for every yellow card his opponents see in La Liga. Lamine Yamal? Just 3.2 fouls per card. Same league. Same refs. Totally different standards.

      Got this recommended so not a fan but it makes me sick to see r/soccer always act like he’s pretending or crying all the time or deserves it because of his personality.

      This is almost as bad as the treatment Neymar got in France that led to his injuries, the refs and La Liga higher ups need to do a better job protecting him from nasty fouls and racismo.

      ppl forget unreality of vinicius just bcz his bad stint in between he was peak peak player 2 years ago. Though i liked the vini 2 years+ ago more

      mind you they were doing this in his formative years. he was literally in his early 20s when these (mostly) grown men were committing attempted murder on him because he was simply better than them 😭 he’s genuinely lucky he hasn’t picked up an injury from any of these tackles because god knows these bums were trying their hardest to keep him out of commission.
