Sadly around 25% of athletes who suffer this sort of injury never return successfully to play again and even if they do they show a decrease in performances.
R9 managed to come back from 2 patellar tendon ruptures one after the other but was out for almost two years.

I know his knee is what’s always been reported on, and it looks restricted, but it has a feeling there by visual that it’s also going down his leg whatever that pain is. He’s doing real work to keep his ankle as immobile as possible as well.
