  1. Lmao love the zoom in on the knees. Feel so bad for Kulu. Hope he is able to play again competitively, for us or otherwise.

We are never seeing him in a spurs shirt again and that makes me so fucking sad

    He’s done.
That’s so sad, one of my favourite players for us.
(He also did really well in his brief stint as a false 9 for us, and that’s always going to be a ‘what if’ for me now…)

  4. Sadly around 25% of athletes who suffer this sort of injury never return successfully to play again and even if they do they show a decrease in performances.

R9 managed to come back from 2 patellar tendon ruptures one after the other but was out for almost two years.

  5. That does not look good, he is grimacing at the start as he takes a small step down. He has also clearly lost muscle in his leg too. Still looks like a long road back from here.

Am I going mad or is that not really that bad? He could have had an injection that morning for all we know

  7. Is this the same injury Ange described as a “knock” in the run up the the Europa League final? Or is this an unrelated injury. I genuinely can’t remember at this point.

Yeah that’s not looking good..way too dangerous for him to come back especially in the premier league with our crap refs here.. damn bro was such a good player as well.

He’s done, or if he does come back, wont be the same player. Very sad to see.

  10. I know his knee is what’s always been reported on, and it looks restricted, but it has a feeling there by visual that it’s also going down his leg whatever that pain is. He’s doing real work to keep his ankle as immobile as possible as well.

I hate this for us, but I really hate it for Deki… to be this long into an injury hiatus and seemingly having NO end in sight… that’s gotta be a mindfuck.
