[Gold] There is a growing belief among some inside Spurs that a mutual parting of the ways with Igor Tudor is the likeliest scenario with the 47-year-old then able to focus on family matters.

I get why he’d want to walk away given the passing of his father but who are we going to bring in to replace him?

Make Vinai and Lange stand in the technical area for 90 minutes

Can’t wait for the next manager to fail with this group of inept and entitled senior players.

I would not blame him for leaving losing your father is a feeling i hope to not feel for a long time

He’ll be removed 4 days before the Sunderland game to make sure the new manager has as little time as possible to prepare. It’s what Spurs do.

Whoever they bring in better play four at the back. The players we have are better suited for that and we need to play a form they are comfortable with.

I think this would be a sensible suggestion that would save face for everyone. The likelihood of such a sensible thing happening at spurs however….

Despite what has happened on the pitch, I do hope it is truly a mutual parting and not the club trying to slyly push him out without having to take ownership of another failure.

I mean obviously? I’m assuming they haven’t made the announcement yet out of respect for Tudor and not because they have no one lined up yet…..

I thought this already happened? Now appoint ANY English manager to see out the season for Poch

So, Adi Hütter or Roberto De Zerbi… I’d personally much prefer Hütter even if it means a greater chance of us going down.

At least we didn’t panic in Jan 👍

I can’t wait for Lange and the Gooner to screw up a 4th manager decision in 11 months.

There’s 7 games left, and he’s not available for the next one or this training period, and he’s not done very well. It’s a no brainer really isn’t it. He’s not here to do the job we need and hasn’t shown that he’s capable anyway.
I expect they are just waiting till they agree a deal with someone else, which they really, really should have already had lined up by this point given how things have gone, but they constantly seem to be shocked by situations we’ve been moaning about for months. I don’t think prepared is something they excel at.

Doesn’t matter now. The club fucked themselves into near relegation and championship beckons. Terrible management all round. Getting Jesus H Christ himself in couldn’t change anything at this point. We can only hope for a bit of luck 🍀 and somehow other teams being slightly worse.

Just bring Mason in and be done with it. We either stay up with a man that is fully Spurs, or go down like we probably deserve. Im done with this season, just give us some vibes

Would like to believe it’s as good as done and the club aren’t officially announcing it simply out of respect. Doesn’t mean work getting someone new in cant be happening concurrently.
I think when its announce we’ll get the replacement announcement very shortly after.
This delay is both being respectful and actually finding a replacement. There’s nothing to gain from announcing he’s gone and then days of waiting to find out who’s brought in.
That just leaves more and more days for Tudor to deal with the inevitable fall out, so close to his bereavement (a few more days won’t help with that, but I guess potentially having the press after you 6 days after it happens is potentially better than 2 days) whilst we look exactly like the car crash we are if we got rid of him and then had no immediate plan.

I have followed this club for over 15 years. I have seen good and bad managers. I like to think I have a decent head on my shoulders, but I am clearly not a football executive. I want exactly one of two people coming in to save us: Ange or Ryan Mason. I get Ange has baggage and Mason is unproven. But is there a single name out there you actually trust to come in and get the players to perform to even a mediocre level? A lot of our squad still have a connection to Ange, and clearly loved him. Mason is fully Spurs and could possibly communicate the stakes to these players and at least pick the players up for the fight. Bringing in another manager that has zero connection to Spurs, let alone Premier League, would be another disaster, regardless of that coach’s ability.

So we are in a relegation scrap, our previous manager was a Scum wanker, our current manager’s father just passed away and the top two managers we’ve been linked with are an Austrian named Adolf and a Italian guy who gives weird nationalist vibes.
The absolute state of us. Also the deepest condolences to Tudor. I actually really liked him.
