It’s a weird narrative for me, it’s not good. And I think this mindset bleeds into the club. And it’s not one I grew up with.
I’ve enjoyed watching Spurs my whole life pretty much. Been difficult the last 10 years and for a period in the mid 90s early 2000’s
But I’ve seen us lift two European trophies and multiple F.A Cups and some league cups too. Which isn’t bad overall.

when i was getting into club football my dad (who got to see spurs hoist a handful of trophies in the 80s) told me spurs were the greatest team in the land

I have respect for Man City fans who were there when they were in the third division getting played off the park by York City. When the good days are back at Spurs, I’ll have respect for the fans who were here now too.
