Can’t afford to pay cleaners or support staff properly, but hell yeah to an ugly ass new stadium

Was renovating Old Trafford not possible? Feels like throwing away a piece of history, especially since Old Trafford itself has enough seat capacity to begin with..

Just as long as they don’t share the Etihad with City while they’re building their Circus tent 🎪

  4. Pretty sure the land they want to buy is valued by the seller at 5 times what they have offered. Good luck with that.

Why insist on this circus tent look. It looks ridiculous now. Let alone in the future.

Just do a Barcelona style renovation. Strip it back to a one tier bowl and build it up. Play at Wembley for 2 years (which will favour the majority of fans commutes anyway!!!)

Or even the Etihad now it’s just about big enough to accommodate their season ticket holders.

It’s becoming increasingly common to just blatantly lie about this kind of thing. Of course this will never happen, we all know it won’t, they know it won’t

  7. Eventho i hate YANITED, i always thought Old Trafford is a special place. Theater of dreams to theater of clowns!

  8. Yeah I expect to be fit, healthy and not depressed in the next 3 years. Don’t see either of them really happening.

  9. Spurs’ stadium took over 3 years to be fully complete from the first shovel in the ground. They owned the land it’s on as well.

United have a much larger and more complicated design, and still need to negotiate a deal to purchase and demolish the freight terminal where the new stadium will go.

    6 years is doable, but I don’t think it’ll happen.Â
